Does any one know if Edius 4.61 will run ok on the Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6
motherboard.

These are the initial boards planned for testing, with results due to be published in a month or two.

ASUS P5E (Intel X38+ICH9R)
ASUS M3A32-MVP DELUXE (AMD 790FX+SB600)
GIGABYTE GA-X38-DQ6 (Intel X38+ICH9R)
GIGABYTE GA-X48-DQ6 (Intel X48+ICH9R)

There may be more, but I don't have any further info.

New Boards

Hi Hans,
I will post a message as I am updating my board tomorrow to the new Gidbyte GA-X48-DQ6, I will let everyone know how this board goes, Hopefully very good as it is costing me a fortune, I have been a Asus man for a long time now but use to use Gigabyte boards a few years ago, I very much like the specs of this board and the reviews are fantasic on it.

I don't think the software Edius would have a problem with any board.

It is the hardware like a DV Storm or an NX Express card which might not like the motherboard.
