Pixelize output video

Hi,

I am a reseller. I found that some time edius gives pixelize video output, when we convert the timeline. I have tested it in several pc's. It is not a continuous problem, but it can be happen anytime. I change the pc, change the camera, the tape, the video clip but nothing solve my problem. I attached a image of the pixelize video so u can identify the problem.

I used the procoder2 to convert the m2p files. My source files are canopus dv avi.
Project settings: Generic OHCI SD PAL 720X576 50i 4:3 48KHZ 2CH (ALL AVI FILES ARE USING IN THIS PROJECT ALSO CAPTURE INTO SAME PROJECT SETTINGS)

I have never tried Procoder2, but it should and must work

is your target DVD?

also, I recommend updating to Edius 4.61 (free)

My target is vcd/dvd to final output my project. My question is why it pixelize the output video as i attached an image in my title quote. There no question about the encoder plugin or version, the 'pixelize' manipulation also happen in proCoder1 also.

was the source video copyright protected with macrovision etc?

Yes..in timeline it is ok, but converted movie become pixelize in some areas..some time the hole converted movie pixelise. There no difference if I convert the timeline into procoder or procoder2.
Not obviously..it is simple wedding movie.

so we need to establish the cause, like Fat32 formatted disks instead of NTFS, or the drives too slow?

try diskspeed from www.roadkil.net (free) and report back the result of the third line mb/sec and second last of all drives in your PC

This is tested several times. But I am surprised that the converting procedure I have tested in 5 pieces in a studio. He has new pc and old too. I must know that all hdd are in NTFS format. But I declare this problem not come continuously.

Can you show me the ideal scenario of harddisk speed test by Roor hdd test?

I don't think you would like my ideal one

in any case, 50mb/sec should be a minimum for each drive used during your encoding

I will collect the speed data from the problem studio (pixel), hope it would be the hdd low speed. Thanks for your suggesstion
