    Please I am getting crazy.
My clip has audio and plays well.
I cannot afford to display the audio waveform.
    Can you help me?

I opened the Audio (Alt+S) selected the little sinusoid nothing happens...

    Where is my audio waveform?

Using Edius Broadcast 4.61 on Windows XP / Pentium 4 / 512 GB RAM

      Unfortunately it does not work.

It seems not to work with any file format...

      Any idea or troubleshooting?

      Thank you!

What format is your clip? Let me also add that your system is very underpowered and might be causing a problem.

Also can you put a 3 sec color bar on the time line with a -db tone.
Give me a screenshot of that color bar.

Here are some properties; I tried with 2 files, simple Microsoft AVI and MXF D10.

How to add that color bar?

Ok this could be either a wrong channel selection or unsupported audio.
That sample rate is kinda weird.

                Add a colorbar:

                In out
right click > new clip -> color bars-> choose one and include tone.

Is there a sample of this footage anywhere?

Ok Sorry I forgot that Edius does not draw waveform on color bar.

Right click where the little "a" is and choose clear all tracks.
Now put a clip on the time line see if the wave form draw after doing the refresh waveform.

Before I forget for the 8 channel audio clip it is better to use an 8 channel audio project.

                      Ok, after updating no waveform...

How to create a project preset with 8 audio channels? The maximum permitted seems to be 4ch...

Your first set of photos show some very weird settings. The second shows no audio. After you follow Steve's advice of clearing all tracks, try to replace the clip on the timeline. My guess is that you have a wrong mono channel on the track.

Hard to tell from the original screenshot, but if we're looking at a Sequence there will be no waveform.

Make sure you have write access to the drive where the source file is. If you don't Edius won't draw a waveform.

                              The No Waveform FIX!

I don't know what causes the waveform to disappear but I was watching someone using Edius and they accidentally hit an unknown keystroke and the waveform disappeared. I suggested to copy everything in the sequence and then create a new sequence and paste everything into that new sequence. All waveforms returned.
