trust me, I know to use headphones and change frequency if needed, apparently the monkey who was operating the camera was using them, go figure, so many bad camera operators out there. Could you guys upload the audio file, I will probably have to use it and then beg for forgiveness to the couple. thanx

On top of that, she used a uhf lapel mic system but it sounds like a vhf with all the interference at times, also the celebrant has a sex hotline soft voice that is so hard to hear anyway. The vows are audible with the bride and groom however that loud noise is killing it. Its the worst ever audio I ever witnessed and I am hoping for a miracle. Thanks
can you hear the noise when you listen to the camera microphone channel?

your video person was using a frequency that was used by someone else close by, a video person must have headphones to check sound, it is easy to shift to another clear frequency on transmitter and receiver, I do this often

I was getting similar results to Dave's file above, because of the severe noise reduction, it becomes difficult to understand the person talking

As Anton said this is nearly impossible to fix, but here's a small sample from what I could do, if you like it, I will upload the whole thing. The audio is barely audible. You might try messing with the EQ a bit on this clip.

unfortunately the download speed was 10mb/sec and would have taken hours so I cancelled, now I tried again and it says I need to pay if I want to download

    If it's 100mb, try rapidshare.com
Zip it up with maximum compression, should be really small.

You need to install an FTP (file transfer protocol) app to do this and also have web space area to upload it to.

The other way is to (still with an FTP app) u/l to a host URL that somebody may provide for you.

You can get free FTP apps, do a Google. One is FTP Commander. Works OK

Some versions of Edius also come bundled with SoundSoap from BIAS Inc. -- it does a pretty good job of cleaning up audio problems by learning what the noise sounds like from a small section of all (or mostly) noise.

If it is installed on your system, it would show up in the VST section of the audio filters. There's a tutorial on how to use SoundSoap effectively on the BIAS website.

Thanks. I am confused then. Sound Booth - yes. If that's the case, I might as well stick to Sound Forge then.
