I have 4 short sequences mixed on the timeline with several QT clips. A few weird things are happening when applying dissolves between sequences and clips. BTW, All material does have transistion handles to accomodate the dissolves.
1. I apply a dissolve to the end of a sequence and the begin of a video clip. The video clip goes black on both the source and record monitors. Just dissappears. Not on all clips, just a few here and there on the timeline.
2. On some of the dissolves the result looks like the clips are picking up extra frames from the backend of its own clip, and are visible during the dissolve. It looks like there aren't enough frame handles and you see some of the next clips frames to make up for it. But only it comes from the other end of the same clip. Am I making sense here?
Can you edit sequences just like video clips? Am I doing something wrong? I am trimming (cut and ripple delete mostly) the lengths of some of the sequences on the timeline. I assume this can be done? Are these bugs?
Thanks.
Tom
