The new titler in edius 11 seems to be vistitle. Hope they improved it.
what do you think about Edius 11 ?
PC PRINCIPAL: intensificateur 4k pro - edius X- maximus heroX wifi - processeur Intel I7 8700K; mémoire 16 Go SKILL - xpredator2 - corsair 650W HX
HDD 6x toshiba 2To révision 3 = 12 TO. RAID 10 avec 4 HDD ET RAID 1 avec 2 HDD; 1 SSD: samsung 500G pour Windows 10 et programmes; carte graphique: GTX 1060 6go BD: LG BH10 LS 30; Cyborg SAITEK
: SONY PMW 320 + EXI R + GH4 + GH5
If you look at the Titler interface you will notice that it is called 'Vistitle Express.' So this will, more than likely, not be the full version.
What was your issue with Vistitle 2.960?
Whats up with the ugly and weird looking AI generated footage at the start of the trailer, is that a part of version 11 as well? It looks like version 11 is slowly catching up to what competitors have been offering for a longer time, my only concern would be how well those new features integrate with the rest of the system as that never has been edius strong point. The gpu decoding support at least is something many have been waiting for but again remains to be seen how well it will perform in a multicam setting.
I am interested in the audio editor, but it looks like the Acon Acoustica. Is that a cut down version as well? Does it also mean exporting from Edius and not being able to see the video at the same time?
Edius 8.53WG, Vistitle 2.8, Windows 10 x64 Pro Fall Update, Asus Z87 Pro, Intel i7-4770K, 16 GB 1600 Corsair Vengence LP RAM, Samsung 840 Pro SSD 256GB, WD Black 2TB media drive, Intel HD 4600 GPU, MSI GTX660 2GB VGA, Coolermaster Silencio 652 case, Noctua NH-U12S CPU cooler, Cakewalk UA-25EX USB audio interface, Cakewalk MA-15D monitor speakers, BM Intensity Pro 4K, PlextorPX-LB950SA BD writer, Dell U2410 Monitor
It will be interesting to see the implementation of the titler, GPU and audio editor. I hope they have not had too much cool-aid with all of the AI stuff. We still want the real tools. Hopefully the plugin universe is finally sorted to use anything without issue and the audio editor is fully integrated and seamless to EQ, limit, compress and noise reduce without killing resources. Funny that this update showed up as I was just getting ready to look at Resolve again.

"* One license allows one activation."
I got same Edius X Pro license on main PC and laptop, using one at the time, so that won't be possible anymore?
There is a WG version and a Broadcast version listed on EdiusWorld, but the Blu-Ray authoring is now extra.
My wish is for H264 and 265 variable frame rate files to play on my dual Xeon PC via the GPU without having to make proxy files. Without Intel Quick Sync they won't play, even at 1/8th but they are fine on my laptop with Quick Sync. I am not sure whether the NVidia decoder can cope with VFR not mentioned on here https://docs.nvidia.com/video-techno...ide/index.html.
Also NVidia decode does 4:2:0 and 4:4:4 H265 decoding but does not handle 4:2:2 (bit of a weird omission) whereas the iGPU does, and does the Intel Arc GPU.
The NVidia 3000 series do not have hardware decode for AV1 (AV one) but the 4000 series do.
Edius X does not recognise AV1, VP9 or mkv files either.

EDIUS 11 allows 1 (one) activation per license as stated.
That is different then before. We will provide more information closer to release.

It will be the Acon Acoustica Standard Edition (not Premium Edition)
The Acon Acoustica Standard Edition looks like a nice piece of software. I really hope it acts like a filter or is integrated with realtime playback instead of being a separate editor that needs to use export to get back to the Edius timeline.

What does the updated GPU support mean? Will the timeline editing and playback be accelerated by Nvdia GPU's?
We are planning to have accelerated timeline editing and playback in the coming updates (not in the first release)
Up on release there will be support for Sapphire. (Not saying that no other plugs will be supported) We will release a list at the time of the EDIUS 11 release.
