Just use any free download manager like Orbit or FDM and all is good.

Down loaded the file last night with Orbit and my slow internet connection (1Mb max, most of the time half of that) lost the connection 3 times (download failed warning) just hit pause, restart again and it nicely resumes, it took took 1 hour 32 min to load.

      - its the trouble with living on a tiny island, so far from a decent hub, 512 max for me, so it takes an easy 3 hours plus, and I have to upload huge dvd files for clients too - at least that's all resumable ftp !

      Thanks for the tip.

Hi Paul my Island is a bit bigger, but still an Island with all the problems that come come with it, Power Trips, life is More Expensive, everything is slow, lots of things we don't have, thats why due to the internet I'll still be able to educate myself, and forced to test all kinds of software to find the best possible one, use Orbit, you won't be disappointed (I tested all available).

          Downloading

I use Flash Get, www.flashget.com. Its a great download program and "resumes" from the last hiccup without any trouble.

Thanks guys, yep, Island life is pretty tricky in some ways, but hey, it's really beautiful, just back from the beach!

Good luck with the download, will go there later today, the beach I mean.

Just finished a 10 hour live recording with Edius 4.61, very smooth, no problems, I think I deserve a few cool ones on the white sand......

edit : Not too many cool ones, 2 morrow another 8 hour with Edius in a resort 100 meter from the beach, a international convention about palm oil en bio fuel, cool stuff, and you guest it, lunch on the beach.......

              Island life is hard !

I live on an Island with thousands of miles of white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. But I've got ADSL 2+ or superfast cable and can download the Edius update in just over 15 minutes.
I guess it matters who you share your Island with! :-)

Just completed a 2 day (18 hour) live recording with Edius 4.61, staight from the video mixer into the Storm2 Card, smooth as a babies but.

Looks like 4.61 runs very well.
