  • Changing date in a "DV" capture

    Hello EdiUsers,

Capturing miniDV has the big advantage to have access on Date & Hours of recording in Edius.... (AVI-DV via ieee cable in NX card)

But the client did NOT put the right éléments when starting up his Camera...

Is there a way to correct the Date in Edius so that all infos are corrected and adapted on the complete DV file coming from the cassette captured in one step... ?

    Thanks in advance

    Take a look at this.

DVdate is a nice utility for all video avi-files, but specially useful when dealing with DV video clips. Retrieve basic video information like the codec, image size, duration, audio format.

      Thank you for the info...

I see that last version is recent... good news

I have to do the "replacement" in the capture files before using it in Edius.

      I let you know

Thanks again... but it never shows DateCode...

It's much more complicate I expect... or the avi DV captured by Edius is not compatible...

              Sorry for your time
