It is very important to give accurate information when asking for help.

George, you said that there were no effects on the clips. Depending on the setting, Optical Flow will eat your buffer alive.

Anton, I was at 1/2 res because that way I could see the drone footage real time and not slowing down due to buffer drop. that was in the beginning before changing the settings.
Also I didn't know that optical flow would drop buffer. Thank you

why are you in 1/2 res preview quality?
also, make sure that frame blending is set as default and not optical flow otherwise you buffer will be at 8 max https://www.videoproductions.com.au/...mo-default.png

If it persists, I could do a Team Viewer session with you.

ok Jerry. Thank you so much for your help. I will have a look in upcoming multicam job and I will come back if there is still an issue.

In multicam the buffer is always limitedfor accuracy in switching. This is by design.

I have noticed that as well thats why I leave audio as last thing to change while editing.

The audio mixer only affects the buffer when using one of the functions. Off is neutral.

As far as the buffer drop, I can't see anything that indicates a panel is running or that effects are impacting the clip.

You could try a new project and see if you get the same result.

yes. and with the new PC export is really fast. But the buffer concerns me. In a few days I will edit a dance show with 4 cameras and I am afraid that I will have to drop down the monitor quality or work with proxy if buffer does the same things.

Audio mixer was is never an issue if you set all tracks to off.
If you have any track that is not off , EDIUS will go to in audio editing mode, limiting the buffer to 5 frames.

I do not see the Multicam toggle button. How do you turn Multicam on and off? Can you give me a screen shot of the Mode Drop Down contents.
