You don't need Name or password
Just enter the serial Number in the first field

There is no password needed

please provide the full link you use to get there and also mention the browser you use

it could be a bad cookie that needs clearing from your browser cache

the issue started when the site vanished for a day the other day

http is meant to auto redirect to https

I guess they forgot to implement the auto redirect for the license server

example: click this http link http://www.grassvalley.com/ and it will auto redirect to https
