  • How to make a curve on a mix/voume/pan track?

    Hello Everyone.

Kind of silly question (for someone who uses edius for 12 years) but how to make a curve on a mix/vol/pan track? i mean like in the picture attached.

You get that look when you have "log" selected in the preferences as the way of showing the waveform, rather than linear.

The fade up fade down is represented by a curve in Log view mode but is essentially a linear transition, but the pan produces only a straight line, and again it is linear, there is no graph function in Edius on which to draw and control curves with a spline ajustment on a node like there is in the Mask tool, I wish there was.

The last edit system I saw that implemented that well was the defunct Media 100 844X system, I have no idea of the features in the software are these days since Boris took it over and it looks like they have dumped it as they are not any futher forward than Mac OS Lion and Intel CPU and it isn't on their product list.
