Well I have to give one to FCP

I had to dump a video our art department did off to tape. I pulled a AJ-D250 with a firewire card out of a booth to do it. I tried Edius & Premiere and I got the video out(intermitanly) but with no sound. It was onoly when I used FCP that I could get it to output properly.

Might also be a problem with your PC and the Mac was working correctly.

could be but not likely DVC never played nice with OHCI you could capture but playback (sometime) I remeber the Storm worked o.k. but that was probably due to Canopus's drivers.

Thats always been a problem, has to do with available codecs, apple always had them.
