I doubt you issue is an EDIUS issue as I export daily with no issues

can you send me a fresh system report from EDIUS X to see if I can spot anything else since you got the Intel graphics to work

also,a screenshot of project settings and export settings used when export fails

I looked again and there is clearly an issue with your render service

Faulting application name: EHRenderWorker.exe, version: 10.3.4.9631, time stamp: 0x637b35da

Faulting module name: cseave.dll, version: 2.30.0.1, time stamp: 0x615baa88

I could not make out by your screenshots to which drive you are exporting to, because one of your drives is Fat32 formatted and that one must not be used. Could you send me a short 23.98p UHD clip so I can test the export with the same settings you used

Here we list all drives we could identify

'A:\' drive has format 'NTFS' and name 'Linda Montano New Edits jan 21' (type: DRIVE_FIXED)
'C:\' drive has format 'NTFS' and name 'System & Apps' (type: DRIVE_FIXED)
'D:\' drive has format '' and no name assigned (type: DRIVE_CDROM)
'E:\' drive has format '' and no name assigned (type: DRIVE_CDROM)
'F:\' drive has format 'FAT32' and name 'Google Drive' (type: DRIVE_FIXED)
'G:\' drive has format 'NTFS' and name 'Media 2 - N' (type: DRIVE_FIXED)
'H:\' drive has format '' and no name assigned (type: DRIVE_REMOVABLE)
'I:\' drive has format '' and no name assigned (type: DRIVE_REMOVABLE)
'M:\' drive has format 'NTFS' and name 'Media 1 - M' (type: DRIVE_FIXED)
'P:\' drive has format 'NTFS' and name '18 TB TLB' (type: DRIVE_FIXED)
'X:\' drive has format 'NTFS' and name 'Misc Media & Cache' (type: DRIVE_FIXED)

Thanks, Anton. The drive I am exporting to is the "P" drive...NTFS...I'll send you a clip via WeTransfer. The Fat32 drive is a "Google Drive' which I don't use for video rendering. The P drive (18 TB) has a lot of room on it for files, so it isn't for lack of space that the render fails.

I tested your clip and the export was successful with your project setting, but there is a big problem

The EDIUS Job monitor does not list the job, not the one from win taskbar and not the one from EDIUS taskbar

I think you discovered a bug when exporting UHD with 23.98 frame rate, I will report and let you know what the response is

Thank you, Anton. I have seen this job monitor behavior sometimes as well. Other times it shows the failed job. I will check the behavior with a 29.97 UHD file also. I have had inconsistent results with EDIUS X at various resolutions as well. When you report this possible bug, please ask them to check a variety of settings for exporting. I'll do the same and report back here. Your help is invaluable.

Strange behavior. Tried a short export from 29.97 UHD, 1920x1080 and 1280x720 projects with and without Vistitle, Quicktitle and New Blue titles. New Blue failed and hung up EDIUS...I restarted EDIUS X (not the "last saved version") and all the previously failed exports suddenly came to life and one after another completed the job...but they did not show up in the bin. They are in my export folder on my hard drive, so they did complete the output. I reset the project to UHD and added a Vistitle and everything worked fine. Tried again and attempted to work on timeline with a simple cut and move of part of the clip...export failed after starting the render. Tried again and tried working on timeline...export worked fine. Confusion reigns. I will try again at 23.98 UHD and see what happens.

So my latest UHD 23.98 exports were fine!! I tried two short projects, one with some filters, one without and I played on the timeline and even exported while the first export was underway and it was all just fine. Both exports worked .Beats me, but I'll keep trying things and hope it stays stable. What changed? I unchecked "fast start" in the extended settings of the mp4 options window. Could that have made the difference? I'll keep testing.

I hoped EDIUS X was now going to be reliable, but my latest attempt at 4K 29.97 failed. And the job screen was blank (white). Guess I'll have to wait until the "bug" report is checked by EDIUS to see what might be going on, and what might be a solution.

99% of my jobs are HD and as such I have not had any issues

Like you say, it mostly happens with UHD

Can you run the tool I sent you one more time to rest the render service

I did it here and then it worked and the job monitor shown the progress

I think the render service corrupts on a regular basis

I ran the render service tool again, restarted EDIUS and had some output successes at 4K. Then when trying to continue working while exporting I had an EDIUS crash. I had selected the bin and tried to make a new title when it crashed. I've made another system report if you think it can yield anything new, I'll send it to you.

When it crashes like this (not the first time) it shows an error message saying it can't find an image. I have to reboot Windows to get EDIUS X to (maybe) function after a crash like this. I'll try more tests by exporting and working in lower resolutions to see if it acts nicely. Have you had experience working on the timeline or bins while exporting in HD that was successful? That capability was what led me to upgrade to EDIUS X.

Tobe, with 16GB of ram you barely have enough memory to get the export to work let alone edit while you do the export.
I still think you would benefit from doing a complete reinstall of your system.
This would include Windows, latest drivers
from the mobo manufacturer, Edius X and any extra programs. Plus, move up to 32GB of ram. Not by adding 16GB but by all new 32GB. If your system can accept a NVME (2TB-4TB) get one and make it your editing drive. If you are using an older mechanical drive as your editing drive, you are not getting enough throughput. This goes for editing as well as exporting.
I know this sounds radical, but it will save you headaches in the future and solve your immediate problems.

Are you still running the original system build that George delivered to you? If so, it's due a refresh. This is why I keep a clone of my setup plus a clone of just Windows 10 with all the drivers installed ready to be used as a clean rebuild starting point.

Once again, I'm doing UHD 10bit 60p projects on a 4790k with 32GB and only have an occasional export glitch.

Thank you, Jerry. It does seem time to upgrade. I'll have to see what makes sense to replace what is now an old system.
Once again my thanks for the time folks have taken to help.
