  • Edius X problem with export different frame rates

    Hi,

I have a timelinesequence in 50p and i use 2 videoclips (one in 50p and one in 29.97p) that i want to mix.
It plays well on the timeline (sound and video) but when i export the clip i get a superfast audio or no export at all (red zebra still).
And this happens when i export in 25p and 50p..Tried also mov, and so on..
How can i fix this? Any suggestions?
    Thx

if the project setting is 50p and you print to file, Prores 4:2:2 it should be 50p and have no issues

sometimes issues can happen if a prodad filter is applied and you have no Nvidia graphics

sometimes issues can happen when exporting to H264 and you have the hardware encoder enabled and there is an issue with the intel graphics driver, try without

sometimes issues can happen when the clips on timeline are AVCHD and you have the hardware decoder enabled and there is an issue with the intel driver, try without

      Hi,
Never had that problem before, opened the same project with Edius 9 and the export went just fine.
Uninstalled Edius X and installed it again, but when i export the same project, same problem.
I think i will send a create a system report and sent it to Grass Valley.
But also i don't see the option use hardware decoder?

Do you happen to be exporting over a network?
Hardware Exporter shows when you have a Quick Sync capable cpu.

The i9-10900K is listed as having an iGPU. You would need to have that enabled in order for the intel based hardware encode/decode to work.

Also while Anton is addressing your original question, Do you have iGPU enabled in the BIOS? Your CPU does have Quick Sync but it must be enabled. You should definitely be using it.

once I see a screenshot of device manager, display adapters, we will know if iGPU is enabled in the Bios

if not enabled, I will download the manual of your mobo and give the steps

yes, your intel graphics are present, so EDIUS should see the hardware encoder unless the graphics driver has an issue or it is one that needs to be terminated before it kicks in, are you able to connect the motherboard graphics via HDMI to any monitor, even if a secondary input of the main monitor, then start EDIUS and see if the hardware encoder and decoder are available
