Circle Around Video

or add a block color filter to outside mask and set to white

I added the circle with no blur effect. What would I do to make outside the circle the full white?

Derek, if you go Download the Favorites effects here https://forum.grassvalley.com/forum/...ts?view=thread , one of the Presets is a circle with no blur.

and be sure to place the mask filter above the layouter in case you plan to move and size the image

Use a mask filter. Add a circular mask and then you have several options for what to do with the outside:

1. Make it transparent and show what is underneath - black if you have nothing under it.
2. Use a colour effect like UYV curve to make it black or darker.
3. Use Block colour to make it a specific colour.

Plus you can use any shape you like and fuzz up the edges.

Put it before the layouter and you can make it smaller in the frame and move it around. Put it after the layouter and you can have a cirular frame with a rectangular picture you can under it which you can resize.

How can I place a circle around a video? Using the layouter, I will create a small square in the center of the video. And then I want to place a black circle over it, so it covers the video only around the edges... so the video comes through looking like a perfect circle. If I wanted to I could then make the circle white, and the background white, but the video comes through. Not sure where to begin.
