    Hello

I get an Edius X crash report with a lot of plugins on start up not always, but quite often. I just click exit and it carries on and loads up OK.

There seems to be a timeout on start and the crash report can come up in which it says Edius was taking too long to load.

You might need to uninstall again, delete your c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\Grass Valley folder.

The plugins folder often stays after an uninstall in c:\program files\grass valley\Edius 9\plugins. You may want to keep that and move that somewhere else and then delete the whole folder. You can injtroduce that back later and see if that is causing the issue.

The other thing you could have is a Steinberg or VST filter Edius doesn't like.

    Regards

    Mike

Just because you get a "crash" report doesn't mean it is a crash. This box opens automatically if it takes EDIUS longer than normal to open. This is what yours is doing. As Mike mentioned, this is normally because of third party filters...either having a lot of them, or specific ones that cause problems.
