    8K Canon R5 CRAW (.crm files) Edius X will play CBR but not VBR files

    Hello

    On system 4 I can play Red 8K 25p in 1/4 Resolution, Canon CRAW CBR 8K XYZ.crm files in half resolution with PCC applied, but it wont play Canon CRAW VBR files. The buffer simply counts up and counts down on VBR, but the buffer repeats that on each clip, which is unusual behaviour. Lowering of the resolution does not help the VBR clips

    Kinefinity Mavo Edge 8K camera in Log_Zeiss Pro Res 4444 (4K Clip) not recognised by PCC nearest LUT Black Magic version 5 with bit of a push on the YUV curve. Plays the file OK.

        DaVinci will playback only after the smart cache has given a blue line over the clips without that it won't play. Cache mode DNXHR HQX

        In resolve with a blue line over clips and a GTX 1080 TI: GPU core 80% GPU memory 96%

            Always fun to test videofiles that I otherwise never would be editing :) In Edius playback was very stuttery and then crashed after a few seconds when I tried to playback that clip, resolve studio 17 however plays it without a problem, in resolve cpu is only at 20% and gpu 35% used. Thats on a 5950x with a rtx3060ti
            Edit: tried again in edius and I can playback in realtime at 1/4 resolution.

              I think the RTX series are better for Resolve. My problem in Edius with the VBR files is the resolution dropdown doesn't help me but it does with the CBR files
