Export Print to File issue with 10.30.8291

I have a project that I export to H.264/AVC "Blu-ray 3D exporter plug-in". Version 10.21.8061 exports with no issue and creates the m2ts file output with both video streams and the audio. After upgrading to 10.30.8291 the export fails and reports "Catastrophic failure" in the job monitor. I am unsure where to look for further detail. Is there a more detailed error log? If I revert to the previous version 10.21.8061 the export works again. The project is a simple m2ts 3D file with AC3 5.1 audio. The new version DOES export to the non 3D m2ts format using the "Blu-ray exporter plug in". I can operate with the prior version but if there is an issue with new version hopefully it can be addressed. If anyone has any suggestions please advise. Basically the same project that exports with 10.21.8061 does not export with 10.30.8291 with no other changes so I am not sure of anything more to try. Thanks.

I tested and it worked
Can I see a screenshot of project settings, export settings, and sequence settings audio channel map, because 5.1 surround sound requires correct mapping

My proxy settings are manual in settings.

I went through a UHD 50p test project that gave catastrophic failure creating proxies, same thing would not export.

It is a bug that pops up in certain projects.

Saved the project as samename-2.

Removed all the media.

Added media XAVCI files.

Carried on making proxies no error.

Added iPhone 12 HEVC "Dolby Vision" (HLG compatible) at 50p

Edius created a proxy ok for that clip. As soon as I tried another XAVCI clip catastrophic failure.

So remove the iPhone 12 clip. Saved.

Closed Edius.

Opened Edius and carried on making manual proxies with no error.

Added a different HEVC clip and same again catastrophic failure on clips I tried after making a proxy on the HEVC clip.

Those HEVC clips are Variable Frame Rate 44-56FPS, it seems phone designers don't understand video standards and Edius gets screwed up after making that proxy.

Its not much help apart from stick with the earlier version, but just to say its happened to me.

Thanks for reviewing. See pics. The settings are the same when it works with the old version and when it does not with the new version. I also created a new project from scratch and setup things as shown with no luck on the new version. Maybe it is specific to the media clips - but still it works in the prior version so something is different. I will see if I can create a short clip and duplicate the error and then provide access if someone is willing to test it.

your export audio setting and bitrate is incorrect for 5.1, you can't use 384 bitrate for 5.1, only good for stereo

try 640 for bitrate

I think there is an issue with the Blu-ray 3D export preset, I will find out

That has been confirmed as a bug. Not sure when the fix will be. If that is critical, you should use 10.2x
