Is it the number of files imported or will it crash with just one file? If so, can you upload a file to wetransfer.com and post the link here for testing.

It is definitely not number of file. I've tried one file. No issue just playing files in Windows TV/Video player or editing with Adobe Premier. Also Edius work fine with all other files like from Canon r5, Panasonic. Only files from GoPro10 crash. Second I open folder in media browser Edius will crash.

I can confirm the crash with Edius 9.55.7761 and Edius X. Resolve 17.4.3 will only import audio (Resolve 16.1 imports and plays it) and Premiere Pro 2022 imports and plays
it quite well. I have reported the issue.

Same here, edius 10.3 allows to import but crashes as soon as I drag it into the timeline, resolve studio 17 has no issues with it.

I tried it with Resolve 17.4.3 and it only imports the audio.

Resolve 17.4.3 studio for Windows imports and play both video and audio, no problem at all.

Has anyone found the solution to this problem? I am having the same issue with importing go pro 10 files into Edius. The software crashes as I try to drag the imported file onto the timeline. I am using Edius 10.30

So there will be a fix in the next update of Version 9 for the people that are having problems with this. However, I do not know how long that update will take. I know that is not in the very near future like the next EDIUS X update will be.
