start again

set audio tracks to stereo with the mode switch

then add the clips to timeline, be sure a12 and a34 track patches are highlighted

set the audio clip on a12 to Monaural 1

done, see attached

you can also do it in sequence settings by ticking the channels you want in stereo and unticking the ones you don't want

Original question:

I've recorded 4 channels of audio. Channel 1 was a lapel mic, Channel 2 had nothing on it, Channels 3 & 4 were on camera mics.

How do I bring in Channel 1 and make it go left and right and make Channels 3&4 remain in stereo. I'm hoping to end up with two audio tracks in the timeline.
