  • About Export H264 getting problem No Such Interface Supported

About two weeks ago, I render H.264/AVC via soft encoder in EDIUS 9, it's ok.
But when I update windows, I export H.264/AVC via soft encoder getting this error message.
    System is Win10 21H1 professional .
I render H.264/AVC via hardware encoder, it's ok.

I have tested... yes I have loose the old exports configurations...(recently used)

You have to go to H264/AVC (not the recently used) and activate the conversion (tick in the box).... then the H264/AVC will be there
Then choose the parameters you need and go on on the procedure...

Has the windows udate changed the gpu driver. Have experienced this in the past. Maybe roll back driver via device manager. Take note of current drivers. In my case it is usually igpu that regularly gets updated. Rarely nVidia.

But I don't have that problem.
        I lose my hardware encoder.

this photo, in the red area, I have "use hardware encoder " before.
But now, have no "use hardware encoder "

when I select QuickSync, I can use hardware encoder and render H264, but when I select NVENC, I can't use hardware encoder and get error message.
        My Discrete GPU is Nvidia.
Sorry, I can't help... I am not using Hardware for export... only soft.... I have the benefits of progress with Edius update versions (such as progress in H264/AVC MP4... between 8 & 9)

        Again sorry

          I have solved the problem.
I Modify the Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable X86 and X64, then I can render H264 via software encoder.
          But I don't know why.

How did you modify it or did you just roll back to something earlier?
