  • Edius X - Markers

Having just come from 9xx and having all the timeline markers ripple when I set it up I am finding that on Edius X upon loading a 9 project then I loose that ability..
thats unless I create new sequence in the loaded 9 project and add NEW markers the everything works hunky dory but switching to original sequences the function is not working it seems

My markers won't move with a clip Edius X

Mode sync button on, anchor off.

Only seems to work in insert mode not overwrite which I use all the time

make sure you hold shift+alt as you move a clip and all markers will follow no matter insert or overwrite mode

you can also add markers direct to clip if you wish

          see attached

It works here. Are you manually trying to move clips or doing a Ripple delete? When you have the anchor off, do the markers turn into a pentagon (5 sided) instead of the normal triangle? If moving manually, are you holding Shift Alt?
