When you say you are not seeing it are files exporting but it is just white? Normally adding files to the firewall sorts this out as explained in the "tips from the moderators" sticky post. If the files are not exporting at all do you get any error messages anywhere?

And now back with egg on my face because it is back, after about ten successful renders, it has suddenly gone back to endless 0% with render job just not starting. Tried all of the same things that seemed to fix it, but no go. So David Clarke, when you said "Hopefully it does not come back as an issue because we are not really clear on what fixed it." - You were spot on - It has come back and still no idea how it was fixed temporarily.
Back to square 1
Also just had instance where the job is registered and goes to the Bin Job tab which was a white screen and stayed like that after starting to see the job visible from Tools Job Manager but still 0% - Renders not starting.DV_BoAB @ Kununurra Museum

you need to allow the three render services in the firewall, in your case you have it excluded in defender and not in firewall

I know you said you have the exclusions, but double check you have all of them. Generally, this has been the problem.1: 3970X Threadripper, Asus ROG Strix TR40 E Gaming, G. F.Y.I. I unstalled Edius X version 10.30.8291 and re-install X version 10.20.7821 and everything working 100% as usual. Edius X version 10.30.8291 has 100% bugs causing issues "at least" on my system. Anyone has issues similar to mine, just go back to version 10.20.xxxx and you should be back on the editing path. Addition to this issue, I hope Grassvalley comes up with update on issue using Edius X on Intel CPU 11th generation soon. Thanks for all feedbacks!EDIUS X WG 10.31.xxxx Windows 11 home 21H2

Some exclusion paths have changed starting 10.30. As Pat said check them again.

GrassValley_SL I went through and make changed to all the suggested steps as provided here on the forum on Version 10.30.xxxx and it does not work for me. As I see others are having similar issues. But reinstall version 10.20.xxxx, everything work as it was before. As a user, I do not need to go through technical headache to get Edius X 10.30.xxxx to work properly. That's why I paid the full price for Edius X. Edius X Version xx.xx.xxxx should work properly with a very minimum side issue. I hope Edius software team is working on fixing these issues also fixing it to work on Intel CPU 11th and 12th generation soon...EDIUS X WG 10.31.xxxx Windows 11 home 21H2

With ESET Nod 32 Windows defender is disabled.
I have excluded all the GV folders and the GV App data in ESET Nod32 Internet Security in Computer protection, network protection and Internet protection and the first time in any windows session the Job monitor is opened it asks for user name and password.
Having entered my PC login details in there once it is happy for the remainder of the Windows session.
I am out of ideas to fix this.
The notifications for job monitor are very delayed: started and completed

Exporting either a common .mp4 or a simple XDCAM HD 422 file works seamlessly, say, the first 2 or 3 times. Then... Sometimes there's no progression bar on the exporting clip, but the same clip is displayed green and the rendering engine in the task manager is actually running. In this case it is worth waiting for the exporter to do its job. In other cases exporting does not start, the exporting clip in the Bin stays gray without any percentage displayed and there's no rendering engine running. I'm talking about new and unique exportings (no overwriting), since for my job I need to create at least 5 new exported files daily. Waveform creation for the new XDCAM clips added to the Bin sometimes hangs, or, better, it never starts, so that no waveform file is created. Workaround is often closing and restarting Edius but sometimes I need to restart Windows 10 to finish my job. Those are very huge issues, that never happened with none of the previous Edius versions. Sorry to say that but I still must rely on the latest build of Edius 9.55 only, whenever speed and stability are priorities.EDIUS X WG 10.31.xxxx Windows 11 home 21H2

Timeline cannot run real time and sometimes the timeline just play by itself. 2. The GV Job Monitor, the remaining time is not running real-time (It display but noting is moving) and sometimes I cannot get into the GV Job Monitor. All previous versions of Edius X work fine until this one. I hope Edius Technical team will have a fix ASAP to this type of issue.
(1) Can not add a clip to the bin using Ctl+O unless I first drag something into the bin from the main timeline. Thereafter OK.
(2) GV Job Monitor display often doesn't open. Sometimes it opens, and is displayed in what I can only describe as "plain text", with no graphical elements.
(3) Total system freeze for about 10 seconds when adding new clips to the bin
(4) Video position bar consistently jumps forward 7 frames after every stop (is this a feature or a bug?? It's extremely repeatable)
(5) Video playback sometimes doesn't stop when I hit the spacebar (almost feels like a broken keyboard).
Also, is "non-dark-mode" no longer an available option for the user interface? My eyes really struggle with dark mode GUI's.

SeanW That is exactly the issues I have with the Edius X latest version. When I first reported, the moderator of this forum said I was the only one reported such issues and my issues are very rear. Either I am the only person having the issues or not many people are using Edius now a day. That was my assumption but great to see more people are having the same issues. I hope this will get Eduis group attention to fix all these issues. Currently, I am to Edius X version 10.xxxxxx .EDIUS X WG 10.31.xxxx Windows 11 home 21H2

(4) that is normal, the larger the buffer and playback frames before playback, the larger the jump, try 5 and 512 to see if it is better
(3) no issues here
(2) no issues here with three job mon related exe allowed in firewall
(1) does the bin have focus when you press CTRL+O (I personally just double click the empty space in the bin to add files)Anton Strauss

I'm certain that the correct windows have focus in all cases. I wrote that "Ctl+O doesn't work", but in reality, there is no way to add a clip to the bin until you first put some video on the main timeline using some other method, then drag that video from the timeline into the bin. After that, you can magically add anything you want to the bin using any of the normal methods. I know that sounds totally crazy and bizarre. But it's definitely happening, and it's very repeatable.
I don't want to sound like a jerk, because I do appreciate your participation on this forum, but I don't think it's helpful to say "I don't have that problem, you're doing something wrong". If you have seen an issue before, and fixed it, then please say "I had this problem too, here is how I fixed it..."Last edited by SeanW; 01-29-2022, 01:36 AM.
