edius x 5.1 audio

Hello, can somebody tell me if there is an easier way to create 5.1 surround sound in Edius X? I think it is the same way as 9!
In Pinnacle studio you can use an simple way to create dolby 5.1...
why can't Edius not doing like that?

If you are talking about just having a 5.1 timeline and placing tracks on the timeline, it is fairly simple. However, if you are referring to actual 5.1 spatial positioning and creation, then NO, Edius X cannot do that. You would need either a plugin or a stand alone program to create the 5.1 files.
