Looking at the logs now, I wonder if this was caused by it trying to redraw the waveform cache from some Sony PXW MXF footage?

Curious, 2 hours and 14 mins later and GV Job Monitor just notified me it was going to start encoding. It then did so and several other files I just tested too. Is there some kind of scheduler that I have missed somewhere to set when jobs start?

EDIUS X Render Issue
New to Edius X, earlier in the week I exported a clip OK but today it just hangs, reporting the status, Waiting. I have cancelled all jobs, including all job types. I have tried 3 different codecs from several different timelines, rebooted and powered down and even sent the output back to the C: drive, where the successful file was encoded. I have read through the recent posts that had the same symptoms, I've added the Edius exception files in Windows firewall and even checked the hard drive USB ports, but can't see any reason why at this stage. I just had to go back to my old machine and render this job out in Edius 8.53 to get it finished.
New machine is an HP Z1 G6
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10900 CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81 GHz
