    open an autosave or auto backup from a few minutes earlier

      Thanks Anton. I tried all the old saved project files and I did not find it. I had saved an older version with 2/3 of completed work. Any idea what causes this issue? Possibly an older computer?

        Did you go into the project folder? there is a folder named (Project) and in that folder are two folders named Autosave and Backup.
        Open newest auto save or backup file from them.

          by default, you have 10 autosaves and 10 autobackups
