urgent help please.. i have to outputting 2160*2880

My customer is out of vertical 4k. eg like 2160 * 2880. but never permisses. how can I do it ?

thanks. Today I met with Edius official.This is not enough Edius Pro to get video I need to buy the Edius Workgroup. This is very ridiculous.

may I ask one more thing ? Why don't you don't match the Edius to Mac? New Macs really because it's really superior.

What does workgroup do that you miss from the pro version? You can find the differences here: Workgroup vs Pro version - EDIUS
I used to have the workgroup version but for edius x I switched to pro as workgroup does not have any extra features I need.
As for edius being adopted to work on a mac utilising the m1 chip, I doubt that ever will happen, they still have lots to improve on gpu support when it comes to windows so I rather see that solved first :)

yes. max 2160 in pro version

Its actually the height - 2880 - which is out of range. Pro can do up to 4096x2160.

I would upgrade to X WG, it is what I use and always have in all previous versions

thanks for your answers. but it's ridiculous to spend more money to scale to higher dimensions. This is not an upgradeable feature. da vinci even does it for free.

technically speaking, the OP has a point

EDIUS X Pro allows up to 4k resolution

the OP is not exceeding 4k resolution, he only wants to do 9:16 instead of 16:9

Japan should enlarge the vertical resolution limit in Pro version to allow the full 4k specs
