Thanks the observations and precisions given by Anton and Bern, my IT expert has re-encode the CSV's considering iN and Duration in the conversion program he has written.

The pdf formular fill in by the client can now be exported in CSV and inserted in Edius with success.

Thanks a lot for your help that pointed the misuderstanding of the exported CSV by Edius....

    Have a nice day

I don't have Edius X, but all of my use of csv files from edius 7 to 9 are the same. Out points from markers that have an in/out set are not stored but instead they are calculated from the in point and the duration. I use the csv markers routinely moving markers between different softwares and it has never changed from this.

If you are trying to allow someone else to set timecodes or view them in a spreadsheet, you are better off using regular markers and using the description to include an IN or OUT as part of the text.

can you email me a csv type3 or xml file of your markers

when I export from EDIUS X, the csv does not show out points but when I then import the markers, the outpoints are there (it is calculated from the next in point)

    Non-sense when exporting/importing CSV

I am very desapointed . When I export marker with IN, OUT and Duration points... the OUT points are not registered.

So when I want to import CSV with IN and OUT points, the OUT points are set in the duration column...

I have created formulars that I realise I can NOT use....
    Attached Files
Working...
