I'm using Edius 1.52 with a Storm2 capture card. Until recently, I had everything working as it should. Then I had to change my graphics card (to an Asus Nvidia N7200 with 128MB RAM), which, in turn introduced my computer to DirectX 9.0c. Edius 1.5, Premier 6.5, Storm Edit, Storm video etc promptly stopped overlaying the video.
I've upgraded and de-graded the various driver installation but nothing worked until I read a few of the relevant threads on this forum and inserted
[DVStormRT.Stmcore.conf]
OverlayMethod=1
and
[DVStorm-RT.stmdd]
OverlayUpdateMethod=1
into the canopus.ini file in the Windows directory.
These entries worked fine for Premier 6.5, Storm Edit and Storm Video but Edius still refuses to play ball.
Does anyone have any other guidance, please.
