  • Multicam question

Seem to be having a problem with multicam importing files. I followed Antons tutorial (thank you Anton) and it still leaves about 10 or so files out from 2 different cameras. Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance,
    Dano

I put them in through the bin. Double click on it and then it opens the folder. I highlight them and they go in.

what is the camera? because some cameras file formats like P2 will split files every 4GB and they need to be stitched via import by using source browser

I am not familiar with these, however I would still use sourcebrowser to add and transfer to bin as this stitches everything together correctly as per XML files

I have a Sony PXW-X400 and use sourcebrowser to add and transfer to bin, no issues with multicam

typically you load from the cameras card

when you transferred from card to hard disk, did you copy all folders from the card or only the mp4 files?

the whole folder structure is needed for source browser to do its job

I can make a video to show you what to do, but only if you have the whole folder structure

btw, have you given each cameras folder a reel number for all clips?

I copied all of the folders. I did give each camera a reel number and also used 1 audio file with a reel number.

here are the ways to use source browser

                          1. From a camera card
                          https://www.videoproductions.com.au/...owser-card.mp4

                          2. From a card folder copied to hard disk. You only need to choose add to bin because the clips are already on the hard disk, but you can also add and transfer and then delete the original folder
