  • Relinking Files

I have a project which was made a mobile drive. I have replicated the file structure onto an internal drive. What is the best method to tell edius to link to new location?
Or am I going about this the wrong way?

Edius usually opens just such a dialog box automatically when it can't find files. Does that happen when you open the project file?

Just remove the external drive. An offline warning should appear next time you open. You can relink through that.

If nothing obvious guides you through the relinking of media when you launch the project you can prompt it yourself. In the timeline you will have hatched out sections that represent missing media, double click into any of those missing media sections and you should then be prompted with Edius' relink function.

If you don't know the difference between Azimuth and Asimov, then either your tapes sound bad and your Robot is very dangerous. Kill all humans...... Or your tape deck won't harm a human, and your Robot's tracking and stereo imagining is spot on.

Is your Robot three laws safe?

if you know the original drive path name... for example E drive or something like that, change the letter path name of the drive in Computer Management - storage...
or find the edius project file for that production and open from there and edius will find all the clips.
