If I purchase Edius 9 now and download onto my computer.... and in two months I buy a different workstation, will I need to buy Edius again? Or maybe I should buy Edius in a box? Thoughts ?

You will not have to buy it again. Just don't do it too often...make sure your new install is stable before activating it...you are limited to two activate/ deactivates per month as far as I understand it.
