Hi Team
Since my update to v4.6 I have encountered a problem with the EDL Import not splitting clips with sequential timecodes.
This is something that was working in all previous versions of Edius that I have used. My workflow has not changed, only the version of Edius.
I have removed Edius then installed again from v4 release2 discs and run just the v4.6 update and the fault persists.
I export an EDL, BVE9100 format, from an Edius project with an SD preset.
I import the EDL into an Edius project with an HDV preset.
The original timeline and the EDL file both list 40 clips.
When I import the EDL the 'Batch Capture' dialog lists only 23 clips to capture as it has merged clips with sequential timecodes.
Despite the Settings|Application settings|Desk Settings dialog indicating all options under "Automatically Divide Files" are checked.
However if I click the settings button on the title bar of the Batch Capture dialog the same settings dialog window is displayed with all these settings UNchecked.
I can check them, click Apply, click OK. Go back and check them again and they are UNchecked. Now if I go back to Application Settings|Deck settings all options under "Automatically Divide Files" are UNchecked.
This is painful as I use this workflow every day and want my clips divided.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
regards
Simon
