  • Does EDIUS have frame loss playback function?the sound playback is terrible voic!

if Notebook computer configuration not good , Discard some video frames, Listen to smooth audio ,the non editing experience will be much better.
this video is Lost frame demonstration,Every frame needs to be decoded, sound playback is terrible voic.Because ediusx software does not support AMD and NVIDIA Gpu h265 decoding.Intel computer is too expensive, and CPU performance is not good,Totally dependent on Gpu Quick Sync Video.
I hope to add this function in normal editing mode! Thanks!

have you tried lowering the preview resolution? It should work much smoother than dropping frames. I asked several times in other threads but you have not responded yet

Thank you for your reply,I found it in Multicam Mode(Key"F8") - View Mode -Skipped Frames,Trying to reduce the preview resolution has little effect on h265。trimming Mode(Key"F6") There is no skiped frames feature,I uploaded a picture.

Try changing the resolution dropdown value from Full to 1/2. In your previous screen shots you show 1/2 being used. Obviously, you know where it is located.

Try changing the resolution dropdown value from Full to 1/16,It has little effect on h265 format.i9 9960x(16Core)+Vega64 and R9 5950X(16Core)+GTX1050,It's not as good as 7300hq(4Core) + hd630 of notebook,I just hope EDIUS to support more graphics decoding
