I have used edius since v1. I normally cc all my footage (mostly panasonic 4k MP4) using edius, recently the primary colour corrector. I recently bought a BMPCC 4k and film in BRAW. I cannot find any advice regarding CC workflow in Edius for Raw. I use the BM Lut and PCC and all looks great. If I delve into Resolve the RAW has far more basic control. Is there a disadvantage to using Edius? Is the RAW handled differently in resolve or is it just the interface? If I use a LUT in the PCC does it have the same effect as in Resolve? If I built a LUT in resolve would it work in Edius and have the same result. I am especially keen to retain as much information in the highs as we do a lot of theatrical filming with bright spots and lots of blacks

Have you activated all of the BM Color Space options under system settings>Color Space?
I have used BRAW in projects with HDR and it grades easily. Granted, Resolve has far more settings and options.
If you are using BT.709, Edius should do quite well for you with BRAW.Jerry

Edius doesn't have RAW workflow like Raw metadata settings. Anyway BRAW isn't a real RAW so you can simply use PCC instead (if you work with arri raw or cdng you know what I'm talking about).Pawel Chyrowski

I don't remember how many times I requested for Metadata (RAW settings) on Edius. Without result. My workflow is RAW settings (iso, lift, gamma etc.) in Davinci, then export with the Grass Valley HQX flat to Edius.Pawel Chyrowski
