"OHCI" here is referring to a FireWire port, which via a FireWire cable, can be connected to a DV camera or D-to-A video converter. This then can be hooked up to an analog monitor. But it will only provide video preview of DV-based projects.
To use a graphics card, you must first have a graphics card that supports TV-output, either by DVI, composite, S-Video or component. Then you also need to use "overlay mirroring" out to that secondary output to the monitor.
I'm not sure what terminology is used with ATI Catalyst drivers, but this is essentially what you're looking to do.Comment
