Edius 4.60 Problems with MPEG2 Program Stream

Hi

We are trying to edit a video but some of the shots that were taken from a Sony Handycam (i think, it's my daughters and i can't get in contact with her at the moment to ask her the model). Anyway, when these shots go onto the time line they will play OK if you play from the begining of the clip but then when you attempt to edit, they just turn green. If we look at the properties of the clips it says that they are.....
Streamrate - MPEG2 Program stream
Framerate - 25*
Could we be having problems because we don't have the right codec on the PC or is it something else?

Problem solved.....

Try this: Settings > Plug-in Settings > MPEG Importer

Put a tick in the box 'Don't use PTS'

(I also tend to disable accel. seek if MPEG files are misbehaving)
