I'm having trouble ripping a DVD-Video I produced many years ago with Sonic DVDit, which used a DVD Producer 1.0 engine. Whenever I play ripped files, or VOBs, it only displays 20 seconds or so of video of each file and stops.
I have tried Edius Disc Capture and other third-party apps, but nothing has worked so far. I have MW7, but I don't know how to use it to try and rip the DVD. Any help with MW7 would be appreciated.
I may have to just play the disc and capture via HDMI or component.Regards,
Jon

PgcDemux demuxes a DVD/VOB,IFO (PGC) in its elementary streams, video(m2v), audio(ac3,wav,dts,mpa) and subtitles(sup).
all you need to do is select is the ifo file on the disk and select the needed options for ripping, like deselect subtitle if you don't need themAnton Strauss

or try DVDVob2mpg from https://www.dvdvobtompg.com/
Gives option to join all the vobs together and seems to work well.

MW7 has a selection for DVD from disc or files on PC. Just start normal and the figures attached show selection I am using to rework old family DVD's. I have ended up de interlacing with double frame rate ( so 60i to 60P which is correct temporal motion ).
