Thanks Dave - tried to search for it, but no luck - is your renderpatch public?
Thanks.

for explode this is normal, when using explode pro with nvidia / ati render patch it is realtime on most systems.
With this patch all SD effects work realtime, even some in a HD project. (depending on graphic card used)
For the render patch search the forum in one of the postings from antonsvideo

Real time question reg. transition
Hi
Still exploring Edius to learn it :)
I played arround with some of the 'Xplode EDIUS' transitions this morning.
When I play them back w/o rendering they stutter, but after rendering they seem ok. Is this normal?
When I f.ex. use a 'page peel' in the normal 3D section, everything is ok reg. realtime playback, but almost the same pagepeel in the 'Xplode EDIUS' section will stutter.
I tried this on different machines, a 3.0 GHz / 2 GB RAM and a Dual 3.4 GHz / 2 GB RAM - same thing.
Thanks.
