  • Edius-X, My Job Monitor Has Completely Disappeared

Today when doing a print to file on a sequence, my job monitor has completely disappeared. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but no luck. The good news is that it is still outputting the job, but the monitor is now completely missing. When I minimize the program while it is still rendering the sequence, the notification will appear saying when it's done, but will not show the monitor. When I check the settings icon in it, it shows all my notifications are on. When I tap Open on the status notification when the job is done, the monitor will open up. But, this now seems to be the only way to see it.

Any ideas? I'd really like to get the monitor back the way it was before.

are you using a touch screen without mouse?

in my case, I double click the job monitor icon on the EDIUS taskbar not the Windows taskbar, the icon will be purple once export has started

Anton, Pat- if that was you, sorry for the delay in responding. I didn't see your posts until late last night. As always, your help and suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you both. Both suggestions will be great for future reference, should this ever happen again. Yesterday afternoon after much time and angst, I discovered that I could bring up the monitor by clicking on the Windows notification panal in the far lower right hand corner of the Windows task bar on my left monitor. From there, I created a new custom layout with the monitor in place. The suggestions both of you provided will be much easier, should this ever happen again. The only things I can think of which may have caused the problem in the first place, were a recent Windows update, and/or a recent Photoshop update. But who knows!! :)
