    Something I noticed some time ago, but never bothered to ask...

    Judging by my Vectorscope it sure looks like my 10bit image gets processed by some 8bit function ... ?

    Edius X is what I use here at FilmFix for editing and color grading our high quality 2K film transfers of 8mm and Super-8 film.

    it is 10bit

    what you see is normal, but it has been reported many versions ago that once any filter is applied, lines (blocky display) appear in waveform displays
