      Same here . I got X and can't use it because of AVX2.... Disappointed

    It depends on your workflow. There are quite a few improvements. For me, the auto tracking with layouter, waveshell support and the auto correction in vst latency is worth the upgrade. If does take Windows 10 and their are minimum hardware requirements.

          In my opinion, it would a good idea to pay for the upgrade now, even if you don't install it immediately.

          Also, I have 9 and X running happily on the same machine together, which allows analog capture from legacy devices in 9, and editing in X.

          A win-win situation!

            It is not at all a solution to have the 2 versions on the same machine; on the contrary, you will have many problems especially if you decide to open version 9 projects where third-party plug-ins are inserted with EdiusX, not to mention if you run the "EDIUS.NET Setup Manager"

              I'm sorry but one should always read the requirements of a program. It was clearly stated that you needed AVX2 for EDIUS X. This is not unusual as newer versions require greater hardware capabilities.

                  We have no control over that. You will have to contact whoever you bought the licenses from.
