  • 2nd Sequence Timecode

I have 2 sequences on the timeline. How can I export the second sequence with real timeline timecode?
    Thanks,
    Theo

I captured 2 films for a client. Reel one (sequence 1) goes from 0:00 to 14:00. There is a gap between the sequences on the timeline. Reel two (Sequence 2) goes from 14:05 to 20:00. How can I display the timeline count from 14:05-20:00. Right now when I export sequence 2, the timecode display starts at 0:00 again I would like it to start at 14:05. I need the timeline count so that the client can give me the timeline reference for editing. Example: Cut from 15:05:12 - 15:06:07.
      Thanks,
      Theo

Go to your second sequence. Right click on the sequence tab and select Sequence settings. On the TC preset, switch the timecode to start at 14:05. Click OK.

Thanks so much. It works like a charm. It's nice to come back to the forum and get quick help when I need it.

Another question, will I remember this tomorrow?
