  • My pc just died, where can I deactivate WG9 licence?

The motherboard and CPU unexpectedly died, now I'd like to deactivate the licence before installing WG9 on another computer.
I checked my License List on https://ediusid1.grassvalley.com/ and curiously, only some of my WG8 licences are listed under eID and there's no facility to manage one's licences.
Am I looking in the wrong place?

You need to ask your supplier or Grass Valley.
You don't have to enter your EDIUS ID if you have Workgroup and if you did not then that is why the EDIUS ID on line does not show your e9 number. If you registered it to another EID GV can merge them.

I had this issue once, on Edius 8 pro, I contacted edius they were fast and polite, not sure if this was the mail: [email protected] they just reseted number of installations on their server, they'll ask you for some edius data.

your WG9 has 3 activations, have you used them all? check here http://activation1.grassvalley.com/f...ortal/logon.do (use your WG serial to login and then see how many times it is activated by clicking manage license)

if you see three entries, you won't be able to install and activate, contact reseller or GV to deactivate

if you only see two entries, you can install and activate on new PC

That is exactly what the spare installation is for. The best thing to do after you installation is to contact you reseller.
