Edius X: Very, very slow waveform creation!

are you transferring the files from card to PC via source browser, if so, waveform generation will take forever due to an EDIUS bug with all versions EDIUS, because EDIUS tries to generate waveforms by reading the card prior to transferring

to overcome this is easy, see attached

I`am copy .mxf files from a camera flash cards to USB 3 hdd and simply drag&drop it on a timeline. All boxes in user settings is unchecked.
(at the same time, waveform generation from Sony A7S3 files is noticeably faster)
