  • Latest Version Of Edius X Still doesn't Activate Storm 3G Elite

The driver doesn't work for the Storm 3G Elite contained in Edius X.

The lights go on and off 4 times on the front of the Storm 3G Elite then it gives up.

    Edius 9 is fine.

I believe the Elite and Storm Mobile have been eliminated to work with X

Storm 3G and Storm Pro will work

In our release notes it says that it is no longer officially supported.

Ye I have the patch to CHal.dll and it works

If the Storm 3G Elite expensive but good hardware is dropped that leaves no method of VCR control that works is it doesn't work with the Kona card either.

                  That is a backward step

I needed to activate my copy of 4K downloader as it wasn't giving the option of downloading 4K AVO1 in many cases. I have more or less managed to get the AVO1 UHD downloaded YouTube material to play well on the desktop in Pot Player by using 3D11 and the GPU and automatic colour space and Lanzcos 3 for scaling. There are however some kicks in camera pans it is still dropping frames. Some videos are less hard to decode than others. I am finding the same with VP9 and MKV. My 4 monitors are 1920 by 1200 (to give some tracks depth on the Edius timeline which is full screen). It looks like the AV01 format is hard to handle.

Mike, do you mean you got it now or you already had it.
                      So it does work, well?
