  • Edius X Job Monitor ?

How do you clear, delete items, reset, etc., the job monitor? I can't find any way to accomplish this.

Thanks, to you and Pat! But, this thing really needs the obvious right click option. Quite surprised it doesn't have it, or of course the ability to selectively remove items.
Liking the new 8K HQX Superfine print to file capability!

Create a shortcut on the monitor, then everything goes very fast.

That was the first thing I did - works well (and elegant) - I should have mentioned that.

Yes, but I have defined the shortcut to the file XREAdminConsole.exe (C:\programfiles\Grass Valley ...)
Is it possible to access this file via the job monitor icon? I have not discovered that yet.

                no, that is not possible

why do you need to access the admin console? once it is set, it does not need to be changed again

                  Please read here:
Japan has given us some guidance on deciding how long a job shows in the new Job Monitor after it is completed. It can be set as low as only keeping the jobs displayed for 1 day (I changed mine to this). Please follow the attached photo. We would still prefer a right click delete option but this is the next best thing. Follow

Aha: I didn't formulate that precise. I defined it to easy test some days (1 day, 3 days, ...) .

It seems that the people who updates new versions of Edius are not Videographers and do not experience real life situations or feel like we do. They just work in a Lab.

It is a very accurate determination. Unfortunately they are not and ignore many simple layouts that would speed up editing.
