Stickys stuck on every page

I'm going through several pages of threads and noticing that the "Sticky" ones are appearing at the top of every page, rather than just the first page. On my widescreen laptop this means I only see two new threads listed at the bottom of each screen until I scroll down.

Would it be possible to get the stickies set to only appear on the first page of threads?

I second the request.
Almost half of the posts of every page is taken up by "Stickys"...

Sticky posts will now only display on the first page.
