ok, go to www.edius.net/plus now and enter the serial, this will give you the X serial which can be used to use EDIUS 9 WG and EDIUS X WG on the same PC

so first you install 9 WG and activate it with the X serial and then install X WG and you do not need to enter any serial

you can also skip the ID login during installation

it does not matter, still use the X serial for 9WG

then when you have a new PC, deactivate the 9WG on the old PC and activate it (9WG and/or X WG) on the new one

I would not uninstall 8 at this stage because you may want to copy some plugins from 8 to 9 if needed, 8 and 9 can coexist on the same PC with no issues

If it is an upgrade you will also need the EDIUS 8 serial to load EDIUS 9.

Thanks, but when I went to install 9 it said there is an old version and I need to uninstall it first. Is that the correct version I have to install, btw (see above) Thanks.

no, you will not be asked to uninstall 8

you must have an older version or some of its components still installed

can you make a screenshot of all programs installed, you may need several
