The Workgroup version can handle up to 8K. I believe Pro is limited to 4K. There is a video on the forum showing how Edius works with that camera which is quite impressive.

Yes it is disappointing that EDIUS X is not able to use h265 effectively. By contrast both Vegas 18 and Resolve will in fact edit h265 without hardware decode. Vegas not very well but it will do it in draft mode and Resolve fully utilizes my Threadripper playing h265 fine with my 1080Ti turned off for decode full resolution and speed. CPU still only goes to 43% too. With 1080Ti engaged CPU goes down to 10% and GPU at 35% playing a UHD 60P h265 file that was encoded from my GH5 so 8bit 4:2:0. Really looking forward to this performance from EDIUS X in the future.Ron Evans
